   Items wanted

General
Although the Archives contain a large selection of material on the Alexander Technique, it is by no means complete. You can help the Archives by donating material. Please note that we collect original material only (not photocopies). Please see How to donate for more information. The below listings contain guidelines for items wanted as well as a selection of specific items.

Books
The Archives does not have the following:

Louise Morgan Inside Yourself (1954)

Articles
The Archives contains many articles on the Technique published in newspaper and magazines in the UK. There are, however, very few from abroad. For example, the Archives has very few articles for the general public from USA. AmSAT keeps a comprehensive biography of these. Go to www.alexandertech.org, choose “Media relations” and then bibliography for downloading a pdf of their bibliography.

The Archives have almost no articles by pupils of F. M. Alexander. These were mainly published in the period 1920-1955 in medical journals in England.

Journals and newsletters
The Archives does not have the following:

The Constructive Teaching Centre newsletters (1970s) - all issues
The Alexander Review vol. 1 nos. 2-3, vol. 2 nos. 2-3, vol. 3 and vol. 4
West London Alexander Teachers newsletters no. 4-29

Theses
The Archives have very few theses and other degree works on the Technique.

Research papers
The Archives have very few research papers on the Technique.

In particular the following would be appreciated:
